Hey guys, after watching a lot of videos over the last few days I began to wonder how one can improve as fast as possible.Do you think reviewing your own HHs is of great value for a beginner?Should a beginner focus more on studying or rather playing real games? The quality of the videos here is amazing but I think it's not enough to just watch, at least for me. So I really would appreciate any thoughts about how to improve the best. Maybe this is also interesting for advanced players, too.
I learn best with a structured, organized, systematic format. So I broke the videos down and developed a class structure that helped me learned. As to your question on improving. Reveiwing your game is important if you know what to look for. If you are lacking in knowledge about different poker concepts then you will not be able to have a quality review of your game. My suggestion is to have a basic leakfinder session with a coach. I would suggest having one with you playing against each basic type of opponent (tight passive, tight aggressive, loose passive, loose aggressive and a maniac). After the leakfinder sessions you will have things that you can work on and review. After getting the basics down and learning more about the concepts that govern this game, you can have leakfinders done focusing on certain aspects of the game that you are not sure about. Also you can watch leakfinder videos on this site. Then you can review your matches and check for specific leaks.PaulIB_FishingHope This Helps You Review Your Matches
