To multi table or not to multi table, that is the question

I've never multi tabled before, always preferring to single table because I like to be able to focus on one opponent and determine their tendencies and weaknesses. However, I'm having a real problem lately putting in the volume necessary to make playing HUSNGs worth my while. Not because I don't have the desire t play, I do. I just only have a limited amount of time to play on most days. I'm only at the $6 level currently, and have had roughly 7%-8% ROI over about 140 games on a new site I'm using since the US crackdown. I have a job as my main source of income so I'm playing poker as an opportunity for extra funds, but I'd like to be making more than I have been. What are the thoughts on multi tabling? I was thinking of only going with two and no more obviously, but what is a reasonably expectation in terms of drop in win rate and ROI, and is that offset generally by the increase in hourly? I know there are several factors, and it depends on the player whether multi tabling is profitable or not, but I was hoping to get whatever feedback or suggestions people may have on this topic. Thanks.......

It's usually not recommended

It's usually not recommended to start multi tabling until you're winning with your 7-8% at the $30-50 levels. Are you cashing out at all?  What's your bankroll looking like?

and what about superturbos

and what about superturbos (25BB)? are there any general advice ? is it good idea play more tables at lowstakes ?  or is it better play only one ? but if we want play more tables in the future, isnt better play more (like 2-3) tables right from the start of ST "career" (though multitabling is harder) ?thank you verrrry much

My personal opinion on multi

My personal opinion on multi tabling is to only do it once you're comfortable and confident that you're making the best decisions quite often and without a lot of time between thinking and acting. A lot of loss in edge comes from people that are focused on each and every decision and they can't really keep up with multiple tables, can't correctly see villain passively showdown with K hi and connect the dots that he's likely passive with high card/SD value so when he gets aggro they don't realize that he can't have K or A hi type hands (basic example, most that multi table can probably pick that up or have no business multi tabling, the stuff that really kills most is a bit more complex than that). If you're on one table and you make your decision in a fast amount of time regularly (and that decision is a good one, evidenced by samples of good winnings) then adding another table or two makes a lot of sense. You can also be good enough to where your single table decision process is so strong that when playing 4 or 5 you are still a decent winner, but the smaller per table winnings is more than made up for 3-5x the volume per hour.  Ricestud is a guy that fits that description.  I've seen some people bad mouth him on the forums, but every time I see him play he's both winning (scope him) and playing 4-5+ tables.  Hard to argue with his strategy. In any case, I wouldn't think most at the $7 level would be ideal for multi tabling.  If you're killing it, take a shot at the next level, if you continue to kill it, repeat.  You can move up very fast in levels with short bankrolls, as long as you can move down if it doesn't go well and you don't let it ruin your mentality.
