How realistic is achieving a 10% (or close to it) ROI at 3min blind level turbos Stars structure?

Is there any reality in such a goal? Some guys at 2plus2 believe 10% is the ceiling, but really, how many players reach that in turbos?I have been playing the 100s 3min level at Stars for the last month, 600 game sample. I have a adjusted 3% ROI, and it´s been much harder than I thought. 10% feels like theres a whole abbyss between my skill and a 10% ROI skill.I plan to get coaching in July if I don´t manage to improve enough by myself. Its pretty tough to see from inside (my POV) whats wrong in my game to prevent my winning rate from improving, so I hope that coaching will help me see through that.

I would imagine the best

I would imagine the best players of the level probably achieve 5-10% long term in that structure (it's the same as the FTP turbo structure right?).  Multi tablers would achieve a lower range and I wouldn't imagine more than a select few would hit 9-10% (there weren't more than one or two I think that did so in the old 115 stars turbo structure).Short answer, it might be better to compare your 3% ROI to top level ROIs that are more realistically 6-8%. When I moved into $115s myself and another player that will remain nameless thought we would instantly achieve 15% ROIs.  True story, sad case of delusion.Your expectations seem more realistic, but it sounds like you're still new to the structure, so continue to motivate yourself to learn and improve, you'll look back when you're at 7% and it won't seem so hard.

I have a question stemming

I have a question stemming from this. Over 829 games at the $60 husngs on Stars, the vast majority of which being reg speeds, I have an ROI of 10.1% (EV adjusted being 6.5%, lol sun mode recently when trying out turbos). I was wondering if I should I stick with the reg speed SNGs which are slower/have longer waits, or if I should learn/focus on the turbos where I can probably average almost double the volume per day? I'll add that I currently have ~75 buyins in my bankroll, is this enough room for the swingier turbo structure?

75 buyins is enough room for

75 buyins is enough room for non tilted swings, your risk of ruin is low (and you should move down if you lost a good amount of that anyways).Your ROI is pretty good in the regular speeds, if you're getting good action there's likely no reason to switch, you have solid evidence that you're doing well in regular speeds and that's what you've been playing, so keep at it.If action is kind of weak in these for you, well then that's a bit tougher of a decision and may mean you mix in some turbos for the time being and see how you do.

Thanks for this reply, I

Thanks for this reply, I actually ended up switching to turbos but wait in reg speeds whenever possible.

That's a pretty good strategy

That's a pretty good strategy to maximize volume + game selection.
