$25/$50 No Limit Holdem • 2 Players Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BBpaulyd2671$1100.00  BTNHero$1900.00  Effective Stacks: 22bb Pre-Flop ($75.00, 2 players) Hero is BTN Hero calls $25.00, paulyd2671 checks Flop ($100.00, 2 players) paulyd2671 bets $50.00, Hero raises to $100.00, paulyd2671 raises to $150.00, Hero calls $50.00 Turn ($400.00, 2 players) paulyd2671 bets $50.00, Hero folds Final Pot: $450.00 paulyd2671 wins $450.00 ( won +$200.00 ) Hero lost -$200.00 I had seen villan bet fold to a raise in raised pot, I just looked at this in HH review session and noticed this isn't a raised pot. Villian seemed to be folding to agression post flop so I decided to raise his bet with bottom pair. Then I think I had to call his min 3bet. On the turn when he bets again I figure my bottom pair is completely beat unless he holds some other 2 but i'm sure his kicker is better if so. Clear Fold?

I don't think it is a good

I don't think it is a good idea limping 42o 22BB deep - I don't think it is good 75BB either, maybe Cog can :)))As played I call flop. As you played I think you have to call his min 3-bet and hate myself for having to call 50 into 400 on the turn

I agree with crstn

I agree with crstn here.Usually ou play 42o with a raise, against opponents that fold a lot to raises.  The possible exception would be against a player so weak/bad/exploitable to bluffs during postflop play, that you literally can just limp any two cards and profitably steal pots in some way (whether it's a flop stab or two barrels or three barrels or just having reads that your opponent donks pot with anything decent otherwise gives up to 1-2 barrels, that's the type of reads you need to limp this hand in my mind).

If we raise the flop,

If we raise the flop, shouldnt it be better to raise it to, say, 160-180.

@Mika something around 160

@Mika something around 160 sounds fine to meas for the hand do not raise flop when he leads. you are bloating the pot with a extremly weak hand. Also without a idea of his leading range in limped pots. so calling is going to be better since you do have some showdown value in case hes bluffing
