Donk King1 Questions

Hi, Iv been reading up on these threads here for a few weeks now, and i really am finding it very useful! I was a $60 reg before i moved onto hyper turbos (uneducated) and busted a 3k roll...  After that i joined this thread and had a week or so off, and started grinding the $15 hypers, quickly moved up to the $30s and was just about to move up to the $60s, when yesterday a really abd run hit me and i ended up loosing just under 1k.  So i thought this would be a good oppotunity to post some questions and see if i get any reply as im having a break to chill and sort my head out! My first question is on bankroll managment, I have been sticking to a rule of 50BI for the next stake up, jump up and 35bi for that stake drop back down.  This was reccomended by Mers, is this still a reccomended guideline, or would you reccomend a larger roll because of the swings? Also, iv been really thinking alot about draws in hyper turbos recently.  Generally at what stack depth are ou happy to chk/r or get a draw all in?  Im pretty sure that at 10bbs a draw shouldnt be folded, but whats the cut off for that?  I find myself check calling draws way too much, because if i chk/r a draw say 20bbs deep, and miss then i just shut down on river, it just feels wrong and like im leaking chips?? Another thing that iv noticed is that in my regular games, i could fold top pair with a weak kicker, but in supers iv been finding it more difficult.  Im not talking about obv folds like super wet boards, but i mean vs a nit who is showing no ressistance, then ill have like J2s on a JT7r and hes willing to get it in, i find in supers, because we are so shallow i cant really pass this hand even though i kind of know that hes not doing it any weaker than me if that makes sense. Also, iv been watching my brother play quite alot (hes a winning reg) and he does things i would never do.. for example the other day he was playing a match, and had 75h on the button, obv he min raises 25bbs deep, and flop comes down 9J2hh, he checked this flop back, and i would NEVER EVER check this flop back... his reasoning was what do i do if he check raises me, then i have to get in in on a flush draw 25bigs deep... what are your thoughts here? He is also cbetting alot less flops, and when hes checked back to on the turn, then hes firing a cbet... thoughts?also what is your general default play with middle pair vs someone cbetting Lots and lots of boards... chk/r or just chk/call eg: 89 on a J94r board.  Also on this topic, from watching alot of regs play, alot of people are chk/r top pair, where as in my old games, i used to just chk/call my top pairs, and let them bluff into me.  obv if turn was chk bk i would lead river, but vs a spewey player id always just chk/call... but in hypers i was told that i should be chk/r say jx on a j high dry board... is this always correct? last thing that iv been seeing my brother doing alot, is checking back on rivers where i would be betting for value.  By this i mean he checks back on rivers where draws have been missed, and he has a hand.  He says "if i bet here, i fold out his missed draws, where as checking back to him, he is going to bluff his missed draws" Thoughts? Thanks

So I can say something about

So I can say something about bankroll management. I have the same experience  I busted my roll playink 60$ hyper turbo in July. But I was playing really aggressive banroll managment 10bi-20bi for the next stakes up. It's work for me when I play turbo/reg speed when I feel like I have an edge over the majority but playing hyper turbos with such agressive BM it's really stupid and it is just suicide . So I think When I read thread about bankroll managment. http://www.husng.com/content/bankroll-management-0. So now I play with 35bi to a certain limit (at least I try:)).but the higher limits you play, the more you should buy in. So for 60$ I'll stick to advice from Mers - 50bi/ and drop down when I have 35bi

But busted a big part  of the

But busted a big part  of the bankroll is not only fault of a bad bankroll managment but at least in my case is the fault of tilt which is manifested by the fact that you want make up for losses  as soon as possible.  I recommend to take a few days break and analyze your game and see how far you are from your A-game. In my case helped back to the turbo and advancement of knowledge about hyper. When you lose mental game is so important. And so difficult to manage.Good luck in the fight against downswing.

Thanks alot buddy... To be

Thanks alot buddy... To be honest, when i busted my roll in hypers, it was kind of a mix of things for me... i was uneducated, but wasnt honest enough with my self... I had only watched a few mers vids and thoguht i was liv b lol, but atleast freom that i learnt that i have soooo much to learn and now im actually reading and studying just as much as im playing.. i think they r such a difficult game, and running well is so improtant in these games because of all the flips and 45-55 situations we are always going to be in. I also really think that they are a real mental challenge (hypers) because they are so swingy, if you are mentally weak and tilt easily then they can never be beaten.. because 10 BI downswings are so common, if i tilt every time i loose some money then im defo gona fail.. but to be honest, tilit is such a small part of my problemi very rarley tilt, but my main problem is applying things iv learnt in my actual game.. thats why those questions above would be great if people could give their opinion.. i still get confused in the most basic spots... but i can handle really tricky spots.. It might not make alot of sense, but i can put someone on a 3 barrel bluff successfully, but im unsure weather to chk/r all in with a flush draw, on flat call... those kind of spots :)
