amidoinitwrong?

Hi everyone And sorry for the WoT but I wanted to give some intel you might use to judge me :D New member here and looking to get my membership lvl upped as soon as I get my roll up to the point when i can afford to take out from there. Lil history. Next ocotober I will complete my 1st year playing poker, more as a recreational long learning curve player really. Still on the loosing side on total of trying to find a game that suits me best. Been spewing moneys on mtts sngs cash trying to figure out what I like the best..and over and over again I come back to HUSNGs..they suit me the best. I actually did some good results las winter on FTs rushpoker playing NL5 and NL10 but after Ft opened for euro players after black friday I cashed out almost everything leaving just lil in there incase it all went to hell. Sam to PS leaving only $20 in there. So after summer vacation came back. to PS. As theres nothing like rush in PS I decided to do some HUSNGs as I truly love the fast pace and ability to play a lot of hands. Was rolled for $7 and did some of those but dropped to $3.5s after going on a downswing.  This is not intended to be a bad beat thread at all but now my question is this. I am now on a sow loosing rate downswing on $3.5 turbos with like 40-60 winrate. And the main reason I keep loosing is somehow almost always loosing on my PF 65%+ shoves. Is this not EV+ ? I mean the playerpool is so big I pretty much never sit on tables with same players. So reads are not too big really. The aquarium is full of fish though and I was reallylooking to exploit their habit to push any facecards and Ax. My shoving range to win the match when in lead is 88+ and AJs+ sometimes AQo but mainly only AKo. Usuallly this results in fold but when they call I am ahead 80% of the time. Still I get raped on the river A-LOT I mean its come to a point that everytime I get called I am prepared to loose on the river. And thats killing me. not tilting but killing. As it is in $3.5s there is not much anything but nits who you have to steal blinds when they get up 50/25 and chip them away like that. Or lure ppl in with minraises and hope you hit something on the flop while the otherguys hits a worse hand on the flop then bet for value. These guys dont bluff. They have read the dont bluff on micros so many times on 2+2 that its a dead giveaway when they hit their hand. The other type of player stereotype in $3.5s is a maniac fish who have watched primordialAAs vids where he raises on all streets forcing the opponent to fold. And they give 0 reads really as they just betbetbet no matter what they have so you end up calling them if you hit something or try to CR them off their habit. So if I get like 2/3s of the chips I am faced with opponenets who either just fold fold fold or shove shove shove. So I counter them with my 65%+ shoves. I know I am rolled to $3.5s still with no problem (using the 15 BI strategy) But atm I am in disbelief of loosing my 65%+ shoves to ppl calling with J7o catching a straight against my AKs on A K 10 9 8 as tablecards etc. I am starting to think that is my shoving range too wide? I mean I thought its rather tight and totally EV+ but atm I am loosing due loosing most of these shoves. Obv I do catch my hands occationally but for the last like 100 games its been like this. So please help me on this. amidoinitright really making EV+ decisions and just on a sad but true variance rolledcoaster or amidoinitwrong and should tighten up my shovingrange?I know the samplesize is not much really as the variance is a beach and can go on for a lot longer time but I am still not believeing the $3.5s are really hard to beat or has the playerpool been bloated since the new structure as more ppl are lured into 3.5s instead the old $5.5s they had in PS.

I agree with you that the

I agree with you that the $3.50s are likely not very hard on any site.  There's always a ramp up period for newer players to the structure and people learn at a different pace. The last thing you mention, variance, is also a factor.  200 games is just a blip on the radar.

Thanks for the answer! But

Thanks for the answer! But what do you think about the shoving range I am using. Is it too wide on this pool of fish who call it even more wide range of hands and atm it feels are always catching their hands on river? Should I rather try and play for valuebetting those premium hands instead shoving them? Just in the turbos you dont get too many good hands to play on before the blinds are high enough to turn the gamee into push or fold style of play. And my aim is always to end the games before that as then your loosing your stack fast and you need to push ATC rather than wait for anything atleast mediocre?
