questions about hypers

Hi! Is the hyper turbos beatable at the $30 level? And how many could you play in a month? I was playing around with the variance calculator and with a winrate of only 52% you would make $3k+ almost every month playing 5k games a month!Do you guys think it's a lot harder to beat the hyper turbos than reg speeds?

I mean is it easier to get

I mean is it easier to get bigger hourly playing reg speeds than hypers?

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/185/heads-up-sng/pooh-bah-brm-884641/i think most good regs can get a higher hourly at supertrubos at the equivelent stakes but it needs a much bigger BR.

I agree with Chuge. Of

I agree with Chuge.Of course, if you had a similar ROI in regular speeds per game as hyper turbos you would need the same bankroll for each, but usually hypers are going to be a much smaller per game ROI than regular speeds or turbo speeds, meaning more of a bankroll is required (to survive the higher % chance of being negative over x game samples). The hourly rate though is what you really want to look at, as you correctly are in post 2, and I think that a solid hyper player will have a higher hourly rate in the current playing environment than the average turbo speed or regular speed player* (on average, of course exceptions exist, some players will develop skill sets or grow comfortable with one over the other more quickly, etc.).I don't see hypers as being much easier or more difficult.  The swings are what kill most people, the mental leaks, tilt control, lack of volume, poor game selection via rematch button, chasing losses, etc.  If you have none of those issues, I'd really explore hypers, if not hypers then turbos (turbos are like a hybrid these days, lots of shorter stacked play, but in a structure not as short as hyper turbos, not as deep or slow as regular speed).

If you are looking for hourly

If you are looking for hourly rate, you really must consider your tilt control as a big factor. Without buttloads of focus and concentration you cannot grind it for 8 hours straight, or how much you prefer. For example, few hours ago I just lost 9 matches in a row (brag), which never happened to me before, and I really cannot continue after that without a huge break which I just had.Other times, I can grind it for few hours without a sweat. But its a still a huge thing to consider.
