Hi Guys, few months ago I was thinking to finally pass to grind the HU SNGs as I was come from the standard SNGs 1 table and to face the initial difficulty I was advice by friends on this forum that the best way to do the job was to learn the BSS. So, I decide then to do that and I start study the BSS and play cash game’s tables. Now, I didn’t became Kiroman the guru of the cash game but I manage to survive the first two level by make small profit over 100k hands and reach the NL5. Now, I didn’t smash the limits but I cannot call myself a fish (or at least I hope so) so, the point is, can I now start study and concentrate exclusively the HUs or I should beat down the limits up? I mean, what I have been advised is done or I should go more up in the limits and after back to HUs? Plus, I have played almost FR and just the last couple months I have attacked the 6max, would that be a problem? Finally, it will be very nice if some1 can get me on the right track by tell me how is the best way to start and which room is more appropriate (easy) for me to start. Hope to get same help (I really don’t doubt as I remember this forum for the great kindness and friendly atmosphere unless things have change the last few months) and I would like to apologise for the poor quality of my English. All the best to you all guys and look forward to start interact in an active fashion on this forum with you all 9Im also members of few more forums but nothing compare the feel I had previously here). P.S. I have just ordered and bought the book of Moshman about the Heads Up, is it a good buy and more important, is it worth the purchase I have made? Thank you very much for your attention!
Moshman's book and the standard membership here should be a great start and I think it's a $50 investment roughly for a month of standard + the book.Redbet and Betmost are two of our softer rooms that are still raked fairly for HUSNGs (Party rake is too high, not worth it, players are soft but there's rooms with half the rake that are just as soft).Just really try to focus on the key concepts of HUSNGs, MJW's beating mid stakes series has been a great one for many players here, but there are over 300 standard videos for you to look at.
That's great, TY!I got just this morning the Moshman's book and now I look forward to start to do this asap and in the best/right way.I dont deny that I feel so exited like a little child waiting for Christmas morning to open his present even if I know it will be more then a bit of challenge. As the mindset is the most important thing in the HU discipline, I really want to do it right this time.As I had already a month of membership few months ago, I still got 100s of videos to watch by now so I feel that start a new membership now isn't appropriate even if I know I will do it as as I starting go more deep in this matter and specially after I have consumed all the stuff I got waiting to be viewed.Different matter is concer the room because even if I got many room's account I haven't never played on the rooms that you advice plus, I dont have a room tracked to HUSNG.com so I will go from here by sign to one of the room you adviced to me.What is your feel about that? TYAlso, as I would start playing from the scratch, which one in your experiences is more suitable for my situation? (I mean the ratio bottom limits/profittability and softness of the room) Thank You very much for your support and forgive me for the incorrect (bad) English! Thx
