Microgaming HUSNGs

Hi all,i signed up on a Microgaming site today and was a bit surprised of their husng structure. On the reg speed games blinds increase every 10 hands, levels are 10/20, 15/30, 25/50, 50/100, 75/150, 100/200. Rake is 10%, im actually playing with 113% Rakeback.Do you think these games are worth playin?What adjustments should i make?You think a positive ROI is possible without RB?Cheers,xCRSx

If you have 113% rakeback

If you have 113% rakeback then it wouldn't matter if your rake was 5% or 10% really, it's actually better you have the higher rake, it keeps fishier players playing the game and you actually make more money in the rakeback since you're above 100%.That said, if your rakeback dries up after bonuses/leaderboards/promos and you're paying a net total over 5%, you can probably find a better home long term.So, enjoy your rakeback for now, literally any structure ever made that starts deeper than 15bb should offer more than enough potential edge to make it worthwhile.

Yes, profit is possible

Yes, profit is possible without rakeback. If you look your opponent up on shark scope, it shows his ROI after rake and without rake back. Rake back at the standard 30% is only going to give you an extra 1.5% ROI. This is absolutely enormous for guys that win at 5%. For guys that win at 15% (like 99% of people don't) this doesn't mean that much though a free extra 10% on their earning is nice, I'm sure they could make due without.P.S. 113% is absolutely enormous no matter who you are. This kind of rakeback is a game changer for everyone.

@RyPac13: You are right,

@RyPac13: You are right, competition is really soft at these games. I think most regulars avoid playing them because of the high rake. So im gonna keep playing them for a while. Its just kinda frustrating sometimes when all the money comes from bonus/rakeback and not from playing poker itself.@arh7rf: Im not sure if its possible to beat 10% rake combined with the fast structure i mentioned above. I would agree that you could beat 10% rake at reg speed or turbo games, but the Microgaming structure is close to hyper turbos. So you need about a 55% winrate just to break even which is very hard to achieve imho. 113% rakeback makes it worthwhile though i think, unfortunately this is only for a limited time while clearing the deposit bonus.

113% rakeback

How is that even possible?! Does that mean if you have payed $500 in rake you get 113% that back at the end of the month?I feel stupid even asking this but I don't see what else 113% means.... RJ

Yea, this used to happen more

Yea, this used to happen more often I think.Carbon way back in the day, I remember having a friend over 100% on there, I think Mansion and UB have had brief times where this was possible too.There's always a catch that makes it only work for a small amount of time (deposit bonus or small promos) or in certain games (limit holdem was the game I remember it often working with to reach 100%+), but it obviously can make great sense to take advantage of.

I just missed the good old

I just missed the good old days in Carbon where there still have rakeback offers. I got a lot from them back then.

Love it
