$60 HT HUSNG: Super standard and basic spot - line check. (noobish question)

Very standard and basic spot. I feel like a noob and blushing but need to be sure. Villain is a bad player, limps a lot. Which one is better - isolate all-in or raise something t70? I feel so uncomfortable to play with these stack sizez when I raise 70, get called. pot is 140, I miss the flop and stacks 370.

If he limps a lot he might

If he limps a lot he might also have strong hands in his range; thus when you get called, shoving pre only isolates your hand against a strong range. I'm not very decent at <20bb play, but i think i'd prefer making a raise and attacking with a cbet if he call sdepending on board-texture/limp-call range. There might be more value in raising If you 3x i think you have to kinda call a shove though, since you have around 36% pot-odds on your call if i'm correct & even against a strong limp/shove range like Kjs,A8s,22+ you have 38% equity so it already makes your call +eV.That said if you raise to around t70 (you get 42% pot-odds when he shoves) or t75 you could get away from your hand when he shoves and you expect him to only shove a tight range cause his limp shoving range needs to be wider then to make your call +eV.NB. but even against a K8s+,A2s+,A8o,22+,QJ,KTo+ range f.e. you have a +Ev call (you have 44% equity)

Raising 2.5x or so is fine.

Raising 2.5x or so is fine.  Get used to uncomfortable spots, it's worth the trade off for extra preflop value in many situations (same with 3betting preflop).

raise fold is std i think,

minraise fold is std i think, people shove alot of weak A and small pocket pairs and we are not short enough to raise call a shove without him shoving worse too.

Wont 3x fold bunch of junk in

Wont 3x fold bunch of junk in villains range? Wouldn't it be more profitable to 2x or just call?
