How do you play vs someone with these stats (in a Turbo HUSNG):SB VPIP/PFR 100/100 (always minraises)BB call 143bet 30% / fold to 3bet 64Cbet Flop 56 / Fold to Cbet 29Cbet Turn 33 / 0Raise Flop 50C/R Flop 33Donk Flop 58Flop AF 11Turn AF 2River AF 1WTS 33Actually he's playing hyperagressive and always waiting to hit the nuts will cost you a lot of chips. In lategame levels you can shove wide vs his minraises but the variance will be high I guess.
from your bb: play a lot of hands oop (about 60% total between flatting/3betting). 3bet bluff him with 86s/Q4s type stuff if he has a fold button. don't c/r bluff him much since his cb % is so low.from your sb: hes playing only playing 44% of hands oop, thats not enough and you show a profit vs him simply by raising his bb with 100% of your range. it might feel like hes playing a ton of hands bc so many of them are 3bets, but 44% is way too tight. minraise your buttonexpand your 3bet calling range: T8o+ 87s+expand your 4bet shoving range: A8o+ A2s+ 22-QQ (flatting KK/AA bc you should have a lot of fold equity with a 4bet)
ya he's folding to 3bets 64%, so definitely 3bet bluff him."in lategame levels you can shove wide s his mr but variance will be high" - you will have a higher winrate on him than any way else by printing cEV with 3bet bluff shoves vs his 100% opening range. higher winrate = lower variance which is all that really matters.also, these stats really aren't "hyperaggressive". get away from trying to classify players and lump them all into one group and start adjusting to individual opponent's frequencies (once you have the sample sizes to do so). like i said, it just feels like he's hyperaggro and out of control. realistically, he's actually a little nitty and his 30% 3bet % is getting you out of your comfort zone (it might have an edge on you at this point bc of this)
Thanks Hokie, you're right the high 3bet % gets me out of my comfort zone. It definately feels like he is playing back at me in the right spots. I lose a lot of chips in the long run, if I don't adapt fast enough. You suggest expanding the 4bet shoving range with: A8o+ A2s+ 22-QQ. At which stack sizes do you suggest doing so? If we are like 40-50bb deep do you still shove A8 or A5s over it?Secondly how do you adapt to his flop aggression with donks and raises so often (sample size vs him are about 500 hands)?
