Does anyone know if you can use a hud but have the information in the HUD refresh every game? The way I see it. The more you use a hud against a villain the more skewed the results can become as the play changes a lot from early game to late game. In the early game the hud is usefull for recording stats that will help you with reads when the play is fairly standard. However, when you reach late game and it becomes more shove based these stats are no longer helpful the hands played in the late game will skew the early game stats.I have PT3, I'd like to use a hud that records the stats from a villain and then if I were to replay them immediately or the day after the stats would be reset. Villains play differently on different days and depending on tilt etc past stats become less useful (unlike in cash where lots of recorded hands help show tendencies in the villains play).Any ideas? I currently don't use the HUD in PT3 at the moment.
Tendencies are too volatile from game to game to have an advantage resetting each time. You could probably reset stats per player after each session, either by deleting data in your database or having some sort of non saving option toggled. But I don't think it would be very productive for you.I think a more useful thing would be having stats separated by effective stack.I would imagine in the future some sort of tool that has a weighted formula for how a player plays (based on real variables such as effective stack size, advantage of disadvantage in chips and recent results) might be the "resolution" to the types of relevancy issues people regularly post about.
I don't know if PT3 has it, i guess so, but in the HUD from HEM you can double click on the stats and then you see only the stats from the current game.
