I used to hear a lot of people talk about using an excel spreadsheet.Back in early 2007, when I was just moving into the $11 turbos from the $5 regular speeds, I tracked my first few hundred games on a yellow notepad, by hand. Opponent name/W or L/Winning or Losing Scope Player/Did I play Well? were my categories.Pretty inefficient and silly when looking back, but there was value there at the time, mostly in me believing this was helpful and motivating me to play better and focus on each individual game.
