Hi all :),im university student and my main income comes from poker, been playing many years MTT's(turbo's and no-turbos up to$50') but now want to change into HUSNG. My goal is to make $50/h playing poker and i can manage playing 80-100hours/month(3-5h a day). Those hyper/superturbo swings drive me crazy(this is my first month when im playing any HUSNG)www.postimage.org/image/jw1yfjy9d/   this is my graph up to $30hypers(mainly $7 -$15 and five to ten $30's)EDIT: link only works when you copy/paste it on your browser, dont know how to add picture here :( Question - Whats the best format to reach my goal?I can play up to 3tables at once. Want stable income-dont like this big swings on hyper. What you guys think, im ready to start studing one of them format but which one :)?

why is that and how long they last?:)

Normally you should have the

Normally you should have the biggest preflop and postflop and not in push-or-fold. The longer the early and middle phase....the higher the advantage you can generate the higher the ROI. The higher the ROI the lower the swings. Also you can use a much less conservative BRM than you would do with the hypers. Then again you probably will not have the highest hourly.

I am currently playing the 30$ HTs, so I do not dare to answer this question. But I am pretty sure, someone will come along who can :)

you should only care about

you should only care about your hourly, and hypers have the best hourly. In order to hedge "swings" you can put in more volume. I shoot $500 games a week, and not only is the rakeback nice, but Hypers are fun, exciting, and always running. dont be behind the curve, hop into hypers as soon as you can

Do Hyper really have the

Do Hyper really have the biggest hourly? If you compare $30 Turbo to $30 Hypers that sure is correct. But if you consider that you use a 100 BI BRM for the $30 HTs and maybe a 30-40BI BRM for $100 Turbo you might even have a higher hourly with Turbos.

the problem with playing

the problem with playing turbos is that youre ACTUAL hourly (time spent in front of computer) will be much lower than HTs; because you will be getting non stop action at HTs. You will also find more fish, get more rb, and have more fun!

Do you think that there is a

Do you think that there is a difference between the percentage of fish playing at each level with each of these formats? which has the most or would you say its about the same?

I would assume there's more

I would assume there's more fish on hypers, myself included ;)A fish has $70 left in his account. He's a bit tilted, he hates poker right now and he want a quick way to double his money. If this is pacific poker/ipoker or others - he puts it all on red/black and tries to double his money. On pokerstars, he opts for a $60 hyper  HU. I know I would haha
