Villain is weak player, loose post-flop and quite tight pre-flop. I've seen him calling AThigh 3 barells. He has steal 39% and limp 19%(after 42hands)
Why donking flop vs loose aggressor? If you think he has tightened his limping range he could very likely have Ax in this spot and therefore a blocker for your draw. I'm folding here, he is very likely commited and we still have plenty of stack to outplay him in better spots.
I think we've got a lot of FE and with our 8high we can throw out many better hands(and we've got some equity in str8 draw and 8), that's why I prefer lead flop. But after his rais I put him on: QQ+,A2s+,Q5s,J5s,QhTh,JhTh,Qh9h,Jh9h,Th9h,Qh8h,Jh8h,Th8h,9h8h,Qh7h,Jh7h,Th7h,9h7h,8h7h,Qh6h,Jh6h,Th6h,9h6h,8h6h,7h6h,Qh4h,Qh3h,A2o+,Q5o,J5o something like that and we've got 35% equity against that range(he can bluff here maybe 1:3 also). When I'm thinking about it now, call seems to be good(we need 33% equity on the flop and if villain won't bet turn, probably we can throw out most of his range after missed draw). What do you think?
If you think you have fold equity, shoving over his raise on flop should be good. Calling seems to put you in awkward position on turn, and if you are certain he will check back missed part of his range you will still be lost on most bad rivers.
