Villain is a winnig player and seems pretty straight forward. Not been doing anything out ot line. My image in this match is aggro, with some 3betting pre and stabbing at all flops where he shows weakness. This is the 17 hand. How do i play this flop? Please give your thoughts.
I usually just flat all 3 sts, or sometimes do a fast small 3b on the flop and get it in
I think this has to be a call against a winning straight forward player, I think he is very unlikley to shove over a raise of yours as a bluff and I think that you essentially have a bluff catcher here, so he won't be calling a raise with worse, I would imagine that a winning player is going to barrel scare cards and give often up on blanks, but that is quite player dependant, so I would call one more street to a barrel on a scare card and fold to another on the river. I think that on a blank without a read it's probably a fold but if you've got reads that he is barreling a lot then you could argue to float that as well.

What do you recon?
Yeah probably just shove over there. You beat all 5x, and I doubt he has a ton of 66+ in his range.
The stacks are shorter too. However, you're facing an aggro in the A5 hand, and the turn will often be a decent card to continue his bluff, so flatting in this situation can be the best play (without aggro reads, reraise all in is probably the best play here).
OK yeah I see what you mean thanks guys
