In comparison to dry boards you will much often get a call here. Checking back seems like much better option. Though if I am aware that villain is capable of folding mid pair or so to multiple barrels I might 2 or 3 barrel here, but only if turn/river cards are good (like A, K, Q, maybe J non-club).
i think a call on the turn is not so bad because with k high you might be ahead of he's draws str8 and flush and you still have a double ender
