View Hand #12476752 BB: 1,468 (14.7 bb) Hero (SB): 1,532 (15.3 bb) Preflop: Hero is SB with K 9Villain is a reg who is too nitty in general. Overall he's 63 vpip pfr 38, 15% 3bet and 36% BB flat (though obviously most of these hands are at 25/50, not 50/100). I have tons of other notes, but can't seem to access them now. Basically I expect him to jam over me tighter than he should, and probably flat wide. In isolation, minraise/fold seems like probably the right play. It just feels super weak to be minraise/folding K9o though, since my minraise/fold range already includes a lot of hands. I think open-jamming is reasonable too -- I am also jamming low pps and some Ax's, so my open jam range wouldn't be super weak.
I think both minraise/fold and openjam is very fine.
After the stats, he is folding in BB 49% , flatting 36% and 3betting 15%. So he is folding ha;f of the hands which makes min raise/folding as the proper line in my view just because of the fact that K9 plays well when gets flatted and we can easily dominate him. He is not 3betting so much so I don't think he will 3bet bluff often in that spot. You are only shoving for fold equity here because he won't call with worse. See the flop if he calls and take it down.
