I'd imagine 4x, Kx and plenty of 7x combinations are in Anthony's range and Fis is just trying to maximize value here from AA but ran into a monster he'll expect to see occassionally.I've noticed more preflop flats with AA and KK in some of these HHs this year at the higher stakes games, that's another interesting aspect to this hand, flatting with AA. I haven't seen enough hands nor spoken to enough players to know how often people are flatting AA in these spots, if it's just a once in awhile deviation or if it's actually standard strategy. It does make sense to see more slowplaying going on in the shorter stacks, where the downsides to making a mistake by slowplaying probably are not so large compared to when you are deep (and can miss out on more potential value). Combine that with aggressive dynamics in high stakes games and I can see why this Fis AA preflop flat is not nearly the first one we've seen in these hands.
The one thing I am a bit confused by is the leading of the turn. I assumed Fis would call pre and then call this flop because it is a dry, low card board that AnthonyFF will barrel often. When Kx hits the turn, that would definitely (to me) fit well within the description of "good barrel card/possible card that makes him a solid pair" and in both cases a bet would be likely after checking to AnthonyFF.But Fis leads, and leads weak, making me think it's an inducing bet and/or a bet that is made to look like some sort of a draw (setting up a river shove to be called by the widest possible range on the river). Not really too sure on this post compared to the last though, interesting situation.
