negative nonshowdown winnings

Hi guys,I have played now the hyperturbo micros $1.5 and $3.5 for a couple of months (+/- 3k games). My ROI usually fluctuates between 4 and 5%, so that seems alright. The point is, my nonshowdown winnings is a straight line going down (negative). Does this reflect a leak in my game? I don't think it is fair to assume it is alright just because of my ROI. Am I probably overtight/not bluffing enough? Or could this be a good strategy at the low levels?

Well, it is risky to say you

Well, it is risky to say you are not bluffing enough or that you are playing too tight. While this could be true, it is also possible that you are playing optimally. What you really want to imprve is the green line, and you do that by playing hands optimally. Work on this and your red line will likely improve on its own, and if not, who cares, you are making more money!!

Thanks for your reply. I

Thanks for your reply. I agree on that ultimately i want to improve my green line and play optimally. I am just trying to find out how I can improve. My nonshowdown is consequently going down, doesn't this suggest a huge disbalance somewhere? Would it really be possible to play optimally over 3k games with negative nonshowdown winnings? Some, but most of my opponents weren't maniacs (unfortunately :)).

A negative non showdown line

A negative non showdown line does not neccesarily suggest that you are playing bad, it suggests that you believe your opponents are loose passive stations that rarely bluff. It's def possible you are playing well, but everyone can improve. Where do you begin is hard to say. What do you have trouble w/? That is where I would start.
