Villain was overall very tight passive, folding more than 50% of his sb, limping a majority when entering a hand. On the other hand he had done a lot of min3betting my sb minraises, but giving up on the flop. he has made 2 4x raises pf and when he bets postflop (rare) it was usually an overbet. There has been no showdown yet (crazy at 30/60?) so dont have any specific reads on certain hands. I raised for value on all streets obv and set it up for a river shove. With this river, is a shove still good?Sorry About the format, the hh converter doesnt want to work for me :(PokerStars - $1.40+$0.10|30/60 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 playersHand converted by PokerTracker 3: http://www.pokertracker.comSB: 1,315.00Hero (BB): 1,685.00SB posts SB 30.00, Hero posts BB 60.00Pre Flop: (90.00) Hero has Ac 8dSB calls 30.00, Hero raises to 180.00, SB calls 120.00Flop: (360.00, 2 players) 2h Ad 4hHero bets 210.00, SB calls 210.00Turn: (780.00, 2 players) TdHero bets 410.00, SB calls 410.00River: (1600.00, 2 players) 8hHero ???
I think A8o is my worst offsuit ace raising a limp there, A6o I'd definitely jam even vs that player and A7o is somewhere in-between. I'm definitely snap jamming river, no other alternative really. We'll get enough calls by Ax, some random hands like T4 or 42 and sometimes even 4x/2x if you've been aggro.
Used,A8o is def at the bottom of my range for raising a limp oop pf, esp this deep and 180 is certainly too many chips imo, somewhere around 120-135 is more than enough and I still am not crazy about doing it with A8o, it flops ok?, but not terrific, in fact I am not raising this limp here. As played, the other streets look good to me, only play left is to jammo the river pal and hope he shows up with some weird Tx with a single heart or some weird holding....Gl
