How do you guys watch your videos. Do you take notes or do you do other types of things. I'm looking for ideas because I sometimes do get bored and I fall asleep. No offence but observing online poker puts me to sleep.

Ah, you posted this on 2p2 as well, right? I just responded there with the following:"Probably varies, but my personal preference is to watch short spurts (15-30 minutes at a time) just before a session. If I tried to watch 2 hours at once, it would take me out of my comfort zone and would take a lot of energy to get a lot out of it. I would keep the comments section under the video on the training site open while watching, and type in any questions that you have throughout the video. I would also review those questions before posting to see if you can find the answers prior to posting, sometimes a second look is all it takes to have something "click." I'd also look at quality of quantity. To me, 30 good videos by a great instructor are a lot more valuable than 300 random poker videos. If you're trying to see everything, so to speak, that might help explain why you're losing focus during these. Also make sure you're actually playing, because the worst thing you can do is spend time watching instructional poker videos then not actually play much poker. There isn't really any entertainment value in most good poker instructional videos (aside from some style points with some guys). And finally, one idea is to find another member of the same training site(s) you belong to and do sort of a homework study session where you each take a few notes of importance on a video or multiple videos and then do a session where you each review those main points of value together to make sure you're getting the most out of it. Then rail each other playing a session, or review some hands in HEM/PT, etc. to really get the most out of it."
I try to limit myself to 1 video a day so I don't just cram things in and forget them later. I have a problem remembering things so I've got to limit myself or I won't learn anything.I also have a book full of notes on poker and add to it when I'm watching a video, then I'll just read over the notes in a random section from time to time to jog my memory a bit and maybe pick up on some things I have forgotten
