hi guys,i'm french and i' m playing on ps.fr, a few months ago i was playing HT on ps.fr but i had a roi of 4% over 4000 games ( rake is more than 6%!!) so 2 months ago i've decided to switch to turbos, i've been playing 900 games for a ROI of 10%( 10 euros games). Now i want to switch to 20 euros games so i have the following question:How many percent of his ROI a player lose when he climbs in stakes ( assuming players are better at each level, maybe i 'm wrong)? From to 20s to 30s?from 30s to 50s etc, etc? i know there isn' t an exact rule for this but i would like to know what you guys think about thisSorry for my english !!
Hi,I also play on ps.fr.I can't give you exact numbers, since I don't have a big enough sample, but I did myself climb from the 10€ to 50€ husng, and I can give you some info about the difference in level of the average villain. What I noticed is that the 50's reg is a bit better than the 30's reg, which is slightly better than the 20's reg, which is exactly the same as the 10's reg.So, 50's reg > 30's reg >= 20's reg = 10's reg.And then there is the fish. And the fishes in the 50's husng sea are as bad as those you can find at lower stakes. The difference you can find is that maybe they're a little more aggresive and limp a little less, but it's not so different. So all I can say is that you should definitely move up. If you're profitable at the 10€ games, you'll still be for sure at the 20s, and probably the 30s too. You may have to play some regs that don't know you at first, but once they'll see that you're no fish , they'll leave you alone. If there is one thing I could complain about, it is the difference in action between the 10€ games and the 50€ ones. When starting to play 50s, you can really start to feel that the action at higher stakes is not that great on ps.fr. I don't know how it is on the .com, and probably will never know unless they change the law, but when I look at the Poker Traffic Report on the right of this site, I can't help but weep when I see the traffic on ps.com...
