Im a RoW player, so Im not limited as to where I can play.I have a stars acc obv and know the traffic there is insanely good but I am still considering playing the $1.5 level on revolution to get me started.41.6% eff rakeback from first deposit bonus plus more benefits from the affiliate I will be signing up with. Think it's more worth it than starting at stars.This will just be for the $1.5 level. I will be using a 100bi BRM and Im not gonna lost any sleep should revolution go down or anything and I dont get my $$$ off it.any feedback is appreciated
To compare Pokerstars and Revolution at the 1.50's:Bronze Star at Pokerstars is 12% rakebackSo at Stars and Revolution the rake is 4.17% ( .06/1.44) and after rakeback stars is 3.67% and Revolution 2.08% (50% rakeback using the Comeon deal from VIP HUSNG) this would be 1.59% difference.At Pokerstars you will get in more games per hour and more hands per blind level because of the player pool and software. The player pool at Revolution is much more homogeneous than at stars they are mostly TAG's and loose passive then at stars where you will find everything so you will have to learn to adjust more quickly.I would say try both and determine where your game is better suited and wouldn't use the 100 BI at this level maybe something a little more aggressive like 30/25 moving up when you have 30 buy ins at the 3.50 and moving down when you hit the 25 buyins. Revolution is worth a try. I have played 3,000 games at the 1.50 level on Pokerstars and started on Revolution only a couple hundred games in and I like Revolution so far.I am fortunate though to be in the timezone when traffic is at its peak for Revolution. No problem, the comeon deal allows non US players on Revolution to cashout without having to wait weeks, sometimes months on Lock or Cake (yes, even non US players are having issues with Neteller and Moneybookers on those skins).In many cases, comeon is cashing players out in less than 12 hours, and I haven't heard of longer than 24 hours so far.
