At first I was just gonna

At first I was just gonna cbet the flop to try and win it with 4 high and give up if called, but then I realized that he'd have a lot of JT J9 type hands that I thought would fold to a 3ple barrel. The thing I didn't realize, is that on the river, as a lot of draws missed (any J for the open ender, and all of the hearts) he'd maybe find a hero call more easily, on top of that by overbetting all in the river it was clear my hand was polarized to J high, busted hearts, or like my airball or the KQ+ type hands, but I kept wondering if maybe something like 2/3-3/4 pot size river bet woulda gained more fold equity... any thoughts?? OFC i immed tagged this player as a hero caller, so wont be running those bluffs vs him again.

Diamond draw + Jx have missed

Diamond draw + Jx have missed and river pairs the board. I would not cbet this board since we only have a backdoor flushdraw and it just hits the vilains range very hard. You are either going to bet once and then give up or these kinds of scenarios might also happen from time to time. Vilain is simply now folding much on these boards. Like you stated yourself I would be pretty happy calling any 10x or 9x on the river vs your line that looks so like a missed draw. Betting like 80% pot will def look stronger but I still do not see people folding 10x there. You might want to take a look into Flopzilla. It will give you a better understanding what boards to bluff and how much equity the vilain has with his range.

I think you have to check

I think you have to check back this flop, too many hands he can continue with and you do not have good barreling possibilities.

Put this flop and his range

Put this flop and his range into Flopzilla and see how often he connects with it - you wouldnt dream of cbetting w 4high here if you see the results...And if you feel the urge to still bet this flop, at least dont bet bigger than 50% pot - by betting 90 into 160 will net not enough folds to make it profitable.

I would X the river

He could have some kind of missed draw on the river and since you have showdown value, it worth the check. He is not calling with A or K high on this river and he isn´t folding better hands like pairs.

Thx for the comments, all in

Thx for the comments, all in all it was a huge mistake thinking he could fold J9-JT with a 3ple barrel, so unfortunate I decided to cbet this flop, as I prob cbet this kind of boards i'd say something less than 20%, and when I do I also usually give up on the turn. Very much liked the idea that in case I wanna go and have stab at it to do it with a small cbet (something between 2/5 and 1/2).
