It's just that I hate to be a showdown monkey, but prob that has gotten me in2 a monkey by bet folding that river with 4:1 pot odds. Any thoughts??
Yes given that only 67 beats you here I would almost always call with 4:1 odds.
If you intend to bet the river on the smaller side you should take into account that he sees it as weak especially with all the draws missing and he might gonna take a stab at it. So you sort of induced his bluff (which probably wasnt your intention) and then obviously you have to call him.
Indeed, I didn't intend to induce a cr bluff, and realized I was inducing a bluff seconds after the hand was over

I don't think he is representing anything here. I don't see how he could have a straight here given how tight he is in oop. He can't really have a 9 since there is no point raising it (and any decent player would have raised it on earlier streets). There are no two pairs in his range. I would call. He likely thought you weren't repping much on the turn but a draw or a 9 because of the paired board and that you might bluff a broken draw at the river. Considering he just checked then raised you likely means he doesn't have much showdown value. I would say that he could have A2 pretty easily here and made a straight on the river but that's just one hand and you don't need to be good often.
