Do you ever feel the need to

Do you ever feel the need to balance your coffee range by grabbing a hot one from a 24-hour Burger King drivethrough?

No it's best to just make max

No it's best to just make max ev decisions at all times and not worry about balance.
I.e. avoid all coffee, and for the love of god avoid all burger kings.

As someone who has had to

As someone who has had to forcefully adjust to a diet much stricter than a vegan or even a gluten free diet for the last 3-4 months, I totally disagree.
If you really had to eat a ton of burger king you're probably lowering your life expectancy a bit too.
But even independent of that, I've found some excellent things that I'll continue to do whenever my stomach is healed enough to eat a regular diet again. I'll eat meat and certain fatty foods to be sure (like say fatty tuna, an occassional ribeye), but I've found that doing things like juicing vegetables and spreading out meals gives me way more energy on average (I'm hardly able to eat enough calories at the moment bc of this stomach acid issue, I may be down 25-40% calories wise than I used to eat and I still have equal to more energy on average). I'm also never getting headaches, despite being on the computer 60+ hours a week with lots of multi tasking.
Now if you talked about going vegan vs being able to eat meat, I might side with you. I don't think the data is there to show that eating lean meat and occassional fatty meat is significant and while I think the resource argument is valid in of itself I do not think it is relevant in the bigger picture of society or this world.
