Pbogz faces off against Spiritsock in the second part of this battle between two heads up sng regulars. The games once again takes place at the $33 turbo speed buyin on the Revolution Network. Above, Pbogz gives commentary on his part of the match and below Spiritsock gives his point of view.
@pbogz
why do you flat K5o now and fold 98o in part 1?
were you 3betting QJ to 3b/call or 3b/fold at 30bb?
edit2: why flat 76o while earlier folding 98o?
Most of what you say is because villian was either 3betting very wide and opening 100% The 98 is not a fold. Villian didnt 4bet shove much at all but he did fold to my 3bets a ton hense why I started 3bettign with A8 for strictly folds... When he 4 bets me, I do say its close in the video but i decided to let it go.

What would you say your rough flat and 3bet %'s are against this specific villain then, when you start 3betting A8 and QJ as a bluff?
Well vs a player that is opening 100% and cbetting a ton I'm opening my 3betting bluffing range alot with my 3bet value range.. With a hand like A8 I'm not crazy about 3betting but it is a value 3bet, but in my mind i'm way happier getting folds instead of being OOP with a weak ace that doesnt play well postflop. The qj is clearly a value 3bet but if somebody isnt 4betting shoving at a high% a qj is in bad shape vs alot of hands such as kj KQ AJ AQ and even vs a low pp and a naked ace im either flipping or slightly behind. If he was to do that more lets say a time or two more in that game i would clearly call with both qj or A8.

how do you feel about 3betting hands like 32o?
Honestly, not something I do alot of the time, if ever. Only in a situation where I know my opp is opening a wide range and folding to alot of 3bets or if opp is flatting alot of my 3bets and folding to all C-bets that follow. I think hands like 75 86 even 74 are more ideal in a 3bet pot.

Ahh, didn't think to comment here (not smart, lol)...if anyone has questions about my play in the video I would be happy to entertain them. I know when I recorded these (parts 1 and 2) sometimes my explanations might not have been fully clear, rushed, or maybe I entirely missed some spots that you guys were interested in. I would be happy to answer questions or have any sort of general strat discussion about deeper thought processes.
Thanks!
