What BI limits are available? How hard to get action at 40-100$ limits? Oh yeah, and what about the fee? 2%?
What is rake like?
Rake is 5% unfortunately, though iPoker rewards can easily reach 50-60%, so it's more like 2-2.5% rake (a little higher than Stars, but should be a little softer).
I believe I mentioned it in the video, but its up from $1's right up to $5k's.
As Ryan mentioned, the rake is currently 5%. Action I assume will be slow to start (but instantly take over turbos), but will probably pick up over time.
It will be interesting to see how this goes Merge has 30 bb struture and although the blinds go up faster than stars the roi caps out much less than the 25bb games. I really hope these games will show to be profitable just seems with rake so high and edge so low rake will continue to make the games no really profitable before rakeback.
Raine, why does the ROI cap lower at the Merge games? How do you know this beyond personal experience? In theory starting deeper should improve ROI right?
Merge was lowers as blinds went up faster i think level 3 your chip ev was lower.
I did some calcs on these new games and think they will be much more beatable than first thought. Not smart enough to know how rake directly lowers roi but here is what i came up with to compare these to stars.
Level 1 25/40
Level 2 16.66/26.6
Level 3 12.5/20
Level 4 10/13.3
Level 5 8.33/10
Level 6 6.25/8
This is chip comparison in big blinds so much better than before now question is 2 percent rake to 5 percent how does that effect this.
You said that they have a rematch feature now, but I haven't found any difference from what they had before.
You Click play again and new registration window popups. Luckily you opponent ends up at the very same window and you can play again, but this is worse than regular rematch window (need additional clicks from opp to get a rematch).
Also, if you already registered at the lobby of that type, new window doesn't even show up, which is a pain for multitablers.
I agree, seems inferior for players. I'll see what I can find out. My Playtech contacts aren't the best, but I can get the question asked to a few people, we'll see what reply I can get us.
Some of the upgrades are yet to be introduced, rematches is one of them.
