Maybe someone help me with this question.
I'm playing the Hyper HUSNG's at Pokerstars. The graph you can see is the rakefree graph and contains roundabout 6000 of the 15's$ hypers at Stars.
Since I'm using Sharkistrator my EV grah breaks even and I have no clue why this could be. I didn't change my game at all and the opponents are fishier
than without Sharkistrator. Maybe no connectivity between this?
Any ideas?
I wouldn't think there was a correlation, especially if you think your opponents are equal or worse than before. Variance I would imagine, or you're playing worse lately, or both. Those are my two lead guesses, but hard to say.
Maybe your default strategy is not the best strategy versus fishes. Playing more fishes than earlier and at the same time not changeing the strtategy can lead to playing versus fishes with your versus-regular-setup.
Hi.
^Hmm maybe that could be true, especially if OP watches alot of videos. I play the $15's and watched alot of videos on HUSNG Premium Pack, almost all of which were at $100+ stakes. I incorrectly believed that learning how pros beat other regs would help me beat other fish. Of course, I had to develop my own very different game to beat my own stakes.
Quality of play cant have anything to do with it. His EV graph stays the same.
Difference between eV and real$ is independent of skill.
My guess is that against better players you probably play more hands without showdowns, so EV and real$ closer and less variance dependent.
Marzipannase
You mean playing more hands against better players which is definitely true can lead to
EV graph breaking even and money graph still rising?
I have no idea. I don't know where I changed my game lately. And I didn't watch any videos at all in the last weeks because
I did not have the time to do that.
There are some situations especially at 8 to 10BB where I'm miniraising sometimes a bit more to induce. But this doesn't occur very often.
I don't think that this could be the reason for the EV graph to break even.
Marz is totally right. I missed that somehow, but yea it actually looks like you have nothing to worry about, you're just running bad according to this info.
It helps if you remove the results line and just look at EV. If you were breakeven in EV over this stretch but up a lot of money in results, you'd probably feel good about your game, but you'd actually be doing poorly.
Yes, now I got it. I think this could be a possibility.
And it would fit to my style because against fishy players I often try to limp and minraise even between 5 to 8BB if they are not raising enough
and than try to outplay them postflop. I definitely have a lot more showdowns against fishy players.
I will oberserve this.
Thanks a lot for your help, guys.
