Cringeworthy hand, any positives from this A-high call?

Villain was probably the best player I've played on this limit yet, capable of bluffing in the right spots. On the turn I put him on a bluff and decided to call down. Funny river, awful call from me I know - any positives I can take from it though?

Lol.Looks like a levelling

Lol.
Looks like a levelling war to me.
He thought that you thought that he was bluffing on the turn. If you thought that he was bluffing then you would raise the turn, given flush draw and straight draws, if you had anything at all except Ace high. Furthermore by betting small on each street it looked like he was chasing a draw which would make it even more likely for you to raise the turn if you had anything. Then he bluff-repped the 7 for the straight on the river. Your call was wrong and right.
Imo it was right for three small long term reasons and wrong for one big short term reason. Short term being this hand. It was wrong because you weren't really strong enough to call the bluff (or perhaps it was a value bet because he put you on Ace/king low for reasons above!).
But it was right if you are taking notes on each other because you learn something about him, and he learns that bluff barrelling you is not all that wise which makes your life easier, and you learn something about yourself which is that you were right. An expensive lesson though.

Clear 3b shove pre at this

Clear 3b shove pre at this depth, especially with your read. really not close so not worth considering the post flop as you should never be in that spot :p
