I was just wondering if anyone could give me a rough guide on their opinions on how much harder each stake is on Pokerstars in Heads up Turbos.
I used to play normal speed on fulltilt about 3 years ago, and I found that anything $10 and under was pretty much the same level of difficulty, $20 and $30 games the difficulty increased significantly, but I did not notice a difference between 20's and 30's. Then moving up to 50's I noticed another significant noticable inrease.
At the moment I am crushing $7 turbos on stars, I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough guide on how much harder it gets at the 15's, 30's and 60's.
You wont really notice good regs until 30s, although some of them do play 15s sometimes. You get some good regs at 30s but mostly the players are very beatable if your working hard on your game, you will see a lot of regs that play 60s play 100s too. At each level you move up the regs will play you once to see what you are like and leave you alone if they think there is no edge.
Cool thanks, I figured as much......I'm going to move up to the $15's very soon, I only have 15 buy ins at the moment, but I think I have only had 1 15 buy in downswing ever in HU sngs and that was when I was taking a shot at the $50's back in the day, so i'm hoping that should be enough considering I have a 24% ROI at the $7's at the moment running below EV in all in showdowns. Hopefully don't run into too many regs early on
