Hi everyone! My name is Rafael and I play heads up hyper turbos under the nickname of "gifs88" at Poker Stars!
Well, I've never been very active in the forum because I usually follow maisev.com, which is a Brazilian forum of poker.
Well, actually I'm part of husng.com stacking program and I'm playing the $15s, but I passed thought all the stakes, from $1,50 to $7 by my own!

As you all can see, I'm having a lot of difficult to adjust my game to the $15s level, but working hard on it!
And to finish my first post here, I would like to say that I improved a lot at husng.com stacking program and if anyone who are serious about the game are in doubt about joining or not the program I have only one thing to say: you are loosing your time and money thinking!
Later I will talk a bit more about my personal life and everything else regardless to poker! But for now is it! GL at the tables!

Its really a different game! At 7s villains are a lot more passive than 15s villains! This is the biggest difference between these 2 stakes!

Do you get much coaching time? How does the profit split work?
I don't know if I can tell you this kind of information here! But what I can tell you is if you want to get to a new level of poker, just join it!
Its the most +EV thing I have ever done in my entire life at poker!

Hey guys! I will not play today! So here is my results for the months!
Not very good, but certainly better than last month! So I'm pretty happy with my improvement so far, but not comfortable!
I will keep the hard work to try to beat the $15s next month!
For the next month my goals are:

I'm pretty confident that I will make July my best month at poker so far, and ready to put in a lot of hard work to make this real!

How are July's results?
First of my life! I will post the results tomorrow, when I get to 50% of volume goal! =P
Well, here are my results for the month so far! Just reached the 50% volume goal mark!
As you can see I'm running extremely hot!
Actually I'm not looking at my EV while I'm grinding, just wen I reach 25% milestones. And this is really helping me to not tilt! I tilt much more by seeing my EV like this than with my actual results!
I really don't know what I am doing wrong to get a so fucking EV, but I will keep trying to figure it out! Maybe is just card distribution, but I cant let my self be comfortable about this!

Most people would rather take the results than the EV, but you seem to understand that the EV is a better indicator of success/edge.

I see you've taken the step from beating 7$ to semi-slam on 15$. I just tried the move some days ago with a ROI on -13% from a 7% ROI on 7$.
Obviously there are some different playstyles that atleast I noticed, but I'm on to low sample on 15's yet. Therefore I wonder what you think is the biggest difference regarding 7's and 15's.

At 15s people are a bit more concerned about ranges, so you need to think more about what your range represents to they in order to bluff and value bet.
And they are less inclined to fold vs. cbet too, calling much more with Ax and Kx.
At 7s, you can cbet almost 90% of the times that you will be fine.
True if you only play regs, but then again 15s regs aren't thinking about poker in a deep level and they usually decline you after a few games.
I think in general having a high cbet % even against readless opponent is +ev however it's far from the most +ev strategy. It certainly won't get you 4%+ ev at 15s

In the last few days I worked very hard in my game in order to get better results in terms of EV and finally it went up!

Here a re my results for the $15 SNGs. A lot of hard work in order to crush this limits but it worth!
Now is time to start another challenge at $30s and maybe finish the year trying to get into the $60s!

I can see you are a successful player. In contrast, I just started concentrating on HU SNG and I have little succes, even at this level.

There is no magic to beat the micros! Don't focus too much on your actual results, and respect your EV line! This what really matters!
Money is good? Yes, but if your EV is going up, is just a matter of time to the money get in!
If you don't have it, buy Chadders hypers pack, it really helped me beat the micros up to the $7s. =P
Well done so far on your efforts - great to see your progress. I have been thinking about grinding the three handed Jackpot SNG Hypers on FullTilt - is that something you've ever considered? Obviously you can cram many games into only a few hrs and have the 'chance' of hitting the jackpot while you play. Interested to hear your thoughts on those....

But, this is the same view ppl had few years back when they started hu hypers. So maybe I just don't really understand it yet.

Just wondering, as a player trying to work up the stakes how ridiculous is the wait list at $30's in your opinion?
If someone put in a 6-8 hour day of regging how many games do you think you'd be able to play?
I know it timezone dependent so I guess assuming mostly primetime hours.
Just wondering whether or not I should even stick to hypers if the lobbies are really becoming this big of an issue.

The wait list at $30s are really a problem, but in order to fix this I'm mixing $15s and $30s. This way I get the same games/hours as before.
For higher stakes I guess this won't be a problem since there is basically reg war. So I don't worry too much about the wait list. At first it was chocking, but I get used to it.

Watch some HUSNG.com free videos and if you have the money buy Chadders pack.
If you fully understand all the concepts involved in it, and try to apply it properly, this should be enough for you to beat $3.50s.
There is a lot of packs , i think there is 2 of Chadders, which one? and what more do i need to start the grind, i have HM2 but i dont understand very well the HUD, just the basic but i dont know what more i need to have everything right to grind correctly

Another month ending, another one beginning! I'm not so happy with my results, but not concerned with it too...I'm just in: "oh! thats ok! at least I'm up!"
The move up to the $30s was not so hard as it was the $15s, the biggest difference from the stakes is that at $30s there is more regulars, and they keep sitting you! But, I'm dealing ok with it!

The volume was very good! I thought will not be able to keep it up due to the classes, but I managed it really well.
For next month I'm just planning to studying a lot and make at least 1200 games, but I'm looking forward to start a small challenge to motivate myself. When i decide what you do I update here with new infos.
Well, I already reached all the goals I've set to my self related to poker this year. But I still have 4 months so it's time to start to set new goals for the rest of 2014.
I really don't plan to finish the year playing $60's regularly, but I can see my self taking my first shots at this level by the end of the year, or 2015 beginning at max. But first I need to prove my self at $30s. So I will set my goals for the rest of the year aiming the move up.

So, I will just start to play 2 table when I reach the first goal.

In the past I blew up my (little) bankroll very very often. The cause of it was tilt/ impatience , thinking the site was rigged etc.
What I learned from you is the positive mindset, the (large) samples and being dedicated/passionated to go forward and move up.
