Hello,
I'm new to the forum, brought here after looking at Will Tiptons books.
I'm considering buying his books and maybe his video series.
I play tournaments at the moment,i have no knowlegde of computer programming and my math isnt great.
My question,,is it possible for someone like me to understand the content esp the math, the computer programming stuff and will my game improve enough to justify investing the time in learning this material?
Thanks
Hey Platoon,
My advice would be to check out the free samples to see if my approach to the game might work well for you. There are excerpts from both books available on dandbpoker.com. To be honest, I don't think the math in the books goes much beyond the bare minimum necessary to be a successful poker player these days anyway, and people seem to have more trouble with the concepts if anything.
I'd say the videos are somewhat more optional/advanced, but again, several hours of the videos are up on youtube and posted on HUSNG as well as dandbpoker.com, so just check that out to see if there's a fit.
Will
I've checked out the videos,i think i'll get on ok when your instructing me to do something on the computer program, but when im on my own it'l be a different story.
I'll be purchasing the books, i'll work through them and hopefully get the videos.
Thanks for your reply
