sa1251 video question about bluffcards

Hey guys

So i just finished watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ8_DZG7f14

sa1251 at some point says hes gonna bluff a bit more, and that low suited connectors like 35s 45s even 58o for example are good bluffcards.

I dont understand, why are these good bluffcards?

Sorry for the noob question.

Can you give the time of the comment, or the context was he talking about isos, 3bets, shoving?

I'd assume we're talking

I'd assume we're talking about 3bet bluffing preflop from the BB.

These are good hands to bluff because they often flop equity (straight or flush draws) but they're very rarely dominated by villains calling range. Assuming villain isn't calling your 3bet with A5o.

Hope this helps

3b bluffing

Holdings which you named are usually bottom of our calling range, hence using them as a bluff increases our expectation in terms of chips (3b > call > fold). Also, we assume that villains tend to play fit/fold in 3b pots. Which makes this move even more profitable. It also depends on cbet sizing which you use in 3b pot. Logically the less you cbet, the less often it has to work to make it +EV.

Btw, I've played just few turbos in my life. I am rather hyper turbo player. But I guess population tendencies and logic behind this should be the same :)
