thanks for the video. However, I have some suggestions and I wonder what do you think about them :)
Here they are:
7:47 - I'd bet non all-in on the river, as villain's range is pretty much weak. By jamming we fold 6x / 7x most of the time. But when we bet like 1/3 of pot here, villain might find a call on the river. Some part of his range could improved to Tx, but I still think that 6x and 7x are the biggest part of his river calling range. Obv, when he misses, he is not calling our cbet anyway.
7:56 - I like your idea of checking back. Our hand is not strong enough to bet twice here. As you see, we are rarely ahead of his calling range. Cause he has a ton of stronger 7x, Tx, also some bottom pairs, but not that many. And obviously draws, but we also block some of them: J8, 98, 86, 85. So it seems like a clear check back on the flop. I'd choose stronger 7x for cbetting (both flop and turn).
11:58 - Bet t25 on the flop and continue on the turn. Queen on the turn is a blank.
Non all-in might make sense, I definitely don't hate it. I think the only issue is that his sizing on the turn sort of forces him to represent a bet, bet, all-in line. Not only does it get more value, but it's the line that best represents the possibility of it being a bluff. I think I'd stick with shoving here I've I was in the same position.
Yeah in the video I said I'm pretty in between, but re-watching I think it's a pretty clear check back. Mostly just value-betting ourselves and eliminating opening up the possibility of provoking a bluff when we have a very strong bluff catching hand. If I had checked back in this spot I might've bet something extremely small on the turn because the A hand-cuffs them and makes it very improbable we ever get raise. Would allow us to check back river very easily, so we'd basically be getting value from draws a % of the time.
lastly, I don't mind double barreling at all watching again. Lots of draws and worse 7's that call 2 streets, and given that betting in position most limped pots is standard there's a high probability you'd get called by worse.
Thanks for the analysis if you have any other questions feel free to message me on skype: maxv20. Look forward to more feedback next video
