if my opponent has a ROI of -20% over huge sample at a specific stake and I beat that stake , does that mean I should have an expected ROI of 20%-rake against him ?
It does not mean that you should have an expected ROI of 20%-rake against him. The fact that your opponent has a -20% ROI against the average opponent does not necessary mean that he has -20% (or even worser since you're a winning player) against you as well. His plays have different exp values against different players.
