US player - What sites are best for HUSNG+MTTs

Bovada/Ignition allows me to get in the volume but I don't get rakeback and only their first deposit bonus. Their MTT action is excellent -- a lot of overlays.

ACR / Black Chip gives rakeback but a look at the lobby over the past few days shows me it's all dead except for hyper turbos.

Haven't taken a look at Merge/Carbon yet but I'm hearing bitcoin horror stories and even less traffic.

I'm playing from Virginia, US. My stakes are multitabling $10s or single-tabling $25s at the moment.

Should i just start playing hyper turbos at smaller stakes, go back to Bovada/Ignition, etc?

Also wasn't made clear, but

Also wasn't made clear, but my games are Turbo and Reg. Is adapting to hyper turbos a must on US networks to get the volume in or are there better sites for this?

I think you should try a

I think you should try a combination. Bovada has higher rake since there's no rakeback or bonuses, but the games are pretty soft and they are what you want to be playing.

But also mix in some hypers on BlackChip, hypers are overall more popular worldwide, in general players prefer faster, shorter structures than ever before. So you should work on getting acclimated to those games too. It will also help your turbo game to improve hyper (mid-end game) play.

Avoiding Carbon is not a bad idea. It's kind of hit or miss there in terms of reliability. Their player policies are very unfriendly and non transparent.

We might also have a third poker room option soon, keep a look out on our VIP page.

Thanks for the input! Also,

Thanks for the input!

Also, bankroll is just over $1k. Probably an answer asked 100s of times but what's a good BR for hypers and/or a good stake to start at? Heard everything from 100 BIs to infinity haha.

Starting at a buyin range

Starting at a buyin range around $5 should be good. That's over 200 buyins in your roll, and it'll be a buyin level where you should be able to easily separate results/monetary swings from emotional states, and just focus on making better decisions.

I would move up when you're comfortable and the evidence (EV ROI) shows that you're doing well at that level. Bankroll depends on how much risk you're willing to take usually, but I would approach it from a "Am I likely doing well enough to be in the top 10-20% of winning regulars at this level? If so, it's time to move up, as long as my bankroll allows it."

If you have emotional issues with the money swings, then being a bit more conservative is OK, though try to always improve your mentality if you view it as a weakness.
