No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 Players$10 + $0.50 Heads Up Sit & Go Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BBHero1790  SBmikemully1210  Effective Stacks: 61bb Blinds 10/20 Pre-Flop (30, 2 players) Hero is BB mikemully calls 10, Hero checks Flop (40, 2 players) Hero checks, mikemully checks Turn (40, 2 players) Hero bets 40, mikemully calls 40 River (120, 2 players) Hero bets 100, mikemully raises to 330, Hero goes all-in 1730, mikemully goes all-in 820 Final Pot: 3000     Villain is crazy. He opens >15bb pf a lot and his line on every hand is pretty weird to me.In this spot, I think that I made a mistake when I went over the top on the river. Reviewing this hand now make me think that calling is a lot better than shoving.

trips

I never fold trips against a maniac in general, but with the way this hand played out most of the money went in on the river so once he reraises on the river chances are that you are beat. I would just flat call his river raise and just take my medicine if I am beat.

Yes I think flat here is

Yes I think flat here is best, especially given your low kicker.

I would flat call here

I would flat call here too. There is one case where a flat call is almost always right, and that is when you face a maniac that has insane aggression yet still somehow decides to slowplay strong hands in silly places. It's not super common, but it does happen plenty.  Those guys are the easiest to beat, as they virtually tell you when they do not have a hand (by betting big early) and tell you when they do (by waiting until the river then getting super  aggressive/trappy).Against a player capable of slowplaying, I would not bet the turn.  I don't, however, mind the turnbet against loose players, especially ones that would've bet the flop with top or 2nd pair almost always, as their range is pretty draw heavy/air heavy here, and aside from a random J or stronger 5, you essentially beat anything in their hand.
