New to HUSNG and wanted to post this hand (that ended up with me losing th match) rather than instaclick rematch. I had won a string of pots and then he starts doing lots of agro stuff, and going all in alot. I am not sure if i really thought river through, i just felt it ws an ace or nothing. But most likely I played it bad on all streets. Better to 3bet more pre? as played fold river?
You didn't give us reads, but if he had a healthy open% there are not many aces in his limp calling range, therefor you have the best hand on the flop most of the time - you should valuebet flop (Q and K high could easily flat one street)Don't really want talk too much about river because you have missplayed flop and turn.
personally i would just fold river here>>>Board:A5567tell me what ur beating here on river that villain is value beating u on??u losing to <AX,5X,34,89while ur only beating 8X,9X, and thats only assuming that villain is turning his one pair middling hand into a bluff..OK if he was to actually bluff at the pot, wouldnt he stab at the pot on the flop/or turn??why wait and overbet this massive amount, if in fact he was bluffing... like this line just doesnt make sense for villain to bluff u at, since he's shown weakness on the previous 2 streets ur odds on calling: ur paying off 950 to pick up 240 pot950/1190=80%so u have to be correct 80% times for the call to be good
Tramp,Welcome to husngs ;)Ok, some constructive critcism here!Pre-flop: Well PlayedFlop: There is a lot more hands than Ax in his limp calling range, so go ahead and lead this flop for balance and value here.Turn: Bet if I didn't bet flop.River: I just puked. No seriously I did. Yeah, it's all predicated on that the fact that the way we played the hand, were not sure of what he has here, I tank and fold here as played, however, it plays easier if we had bet imo.You have an awesome community here to help you out so you'll improve quickly no doubt!!Good luck
