he put his money on like 20%,

maybe bet less on turn to make hands that you beat call and to induce a bluff.

I think the shove is fine. I

I think the shove is the best line. I don't think you can really bet enough less chips to make a difference. You would need to be <400 chips probably to induce much, and that's a bad size. The turn shove seems bluffy enough to most players I think. If you called the flop, he's probably calling the turn. And you are happy to take the large pot down anyway.Obviously you cannot check and you certainly cannot fold after making any size of a bet.

Well, you could just openfold

Well, you could just openfold turn.  The flush came - so he either has that, or a 3 or slowplayed pocket aces. You 3bet, board comes paired and they flat your cbet ... trust me, they always have either trips or an overpair, but never any worse hand.  If you don't check/fold this turn, you'd get berated in the chat what a huge fish you are, worst player ever, and it's sooo ultra-profitable to flat your 3bets with any two cards and get payed off when they hit.                                                                                                            * * *Well, all of the above was ironic, of course - but that's just how I feel at the moment when I look at this hand.  It just happened way too often to me in the past that fish flat my 3bet with complete junk, then flat my cbet with air - and hit turn with just a bit less a pot-sized bet left and me unable to fold the hand.  It just feels so horrible since they always get way more than half a buy-in in chips when that happens.  (don't worry guys, I'm currently taking a break till the end of the month to mentally refocus)Not sure what's the best line here - but I'd definitely bet a lot less at the flop, at most 200 into a pot of 360, even considering a bet of around 150 here.  Then, you have some room to maneuver at the turn, could think about check/folding or bet/folding for instance.
