3 betting range?

Ok so I have had some good success in the $8 hu super turbos on the merge network.  This structure starts at 25/50 and doubles i.e. 50/100, 100/200 from there on out  every 3 minutes.  Both players start with 1500 chips.  Should you tighten up your 3 betting range preflop because of the shorter stacks or should you loosen your range in the first level (25/50 level)?  You start with 30 big blinds so there is not much to work with.  If you 3 bet someone on the first hand putting out 300 chips and then get shoved on this is a large percentage of your stack.  I guess Im asking if its worth doing with out premieum hands such as KQ suited or A5 suited for example.  Just looking for a little feedback.

Depends on your opponent. If

Depends on your opponent. If he does open raise 5% a 20% 3bet range is way out of line. If he opens 100% you can 3bet a lot. The main difference is that 30bb deep he can call more often with connected cards (sc, suited Ax, Broadways and so on). The shorter you get the more he will 4bet-Shove hands that can connect bad with the flop (55, A7o, A3s, etc. pp).
