No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 PlayersSTT # 21193347 Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BTNHero2000  SBfdxvale2000  Effective Stacks: 100bb Blinds 10/20 Pre-Flop (30, 2 players) Hero is BTN fdxvale raises to 40, Hero calls 20 Flop (80, 2 players) fdxvale bets 80, Hero raises to 200, fdxvale calls 120,   Turn fdxvale bets 240, Hero calls 240,   River (760) fdxvale goes all-in 1520, Hero foldsThis was 1st hand of the match against unknow villan. Is there a better line I could of taken? Should I ever consider Jamming turn?? (note: on the very 1st hand on PKR software, the btn is in the wrong place, so even though he acts first pre, I am essentially the btn for the rest of the hand - weird I know :) )Below is a hand in same match a few hands later, if I had this read on my opponent (say in a prev game), would it/should it effect the way I play the above hand?? (just so I know for future)

In hand one, you flop top two

In hand one, you flop top two pair on a VERY dangerous board - the board already has a flush draw and three to a straight.  Since there is a good chance that you hand is best now, you need to make your opponent pay for his draws.  When he raises 80, the pot is already 160.  By raising to 200, you offer your opponent great odds to call with any draw.  He only has to call 120 in a pot of 360 - the 1:3 odds are good enough for any straight or flush draw to call. On the flop, your raise size needs to be much larger - raising pot or more is probably optimal here to give your opponent 2:1 to call (re-raise to 320+).  That way, you are giving your opponent horrible odds to call with any non-combo draw.On the Turn, the 10 is a relatively safe card - the chances of your opponent calling your raise on a 10 is pretty slim, and the only hands that really improved are JT or QT (both of which would have probably 3-bet shoved on the flop).  When he bets 240 into a pot of 80, you need to get it in immediately - he's betting half pot (makes sense with any draw), and so many cards in the deck turn your hand into trash (any heart, any diamond, any nine, any king, any ace, any eight...).  Given this range, you want to get it in on the turn to make your decisions easier.  There's still a good chance your hand is ahead. *If you had raised 320 on the flop, the decision to get it in would be much more natural, since the pot would be already 720.  If he bet half pot, he would be much more pot committed to call your raises on draws that are behind on the turn.*On the River, you have to fold, since so many draws completed.  If you have a read that your opponent can bluff at these spots a lot, you can call, but keep in mind that your hand is a bluff-catcher at best
