Hey.
What is the husng? Can we think it different ways?
Lets say I play 5$ husng and the winner get prize 10$. Then I get 500 chips. 500 chips = 500 cents = 5$. So we play the game like cash game 500 cents vs 500 cents. But wait....husng is not the cash game, because there are important rule. If we lose all our 500 cents then the game is over. And we can start new game again.
So what is my story point?
I started my game and find myself situation where I have 700 cents and villian left 300 cents then effective stack size is 300 cents.
So in my strategy I can go all in every hand what is better than 37.6% vs villian shove or call shove range. No matter my position.....i am big or small blind.
If effective stack size is 300 cents...then i am not risking 300 cents vs 300 cents. I am risking 300 cents to win 500cents....because if I win this all in then my prize is 5$. So I am risking 300 cents vs 500 cents and If I am win the hand the game is over and my prize is real money 5$. If i am losing this all in hand then game going on and not over.
There is no matter how high the blinds level. 10/20 or 15/30 or 20/40. I risk only 300 cents to win 5$
lets look when staks are hero 760 and villian 240. Then hero risk is 240 cents to win 5$. example 10/20 level. And villian all in range is A8+.22+ both positions bb and sb. Extremely tight range. In my strategy I need then win 32.5% vs A8+. 22+. And pokerstove show us we can go all in all 100% ...because I win 34.3%. And villian can nothing to do...If hi fold then next hand we can go all in better loose range. If villian call then hi cannot win...Because our risk -reward results is better and I win more than I risking. When villian loose up his all in range then our risk- reward going better every hand hi loosen up. Hi cannot nothing to do.A2+. 22+ and Broadways vs 100% random my all in range sb and bb I win 38.1%. This happen when villian loosen up his all in range.
I am really happy to see all comments. Specially like coffeyay and other pros.
