Just thought i'd try and get a roll for the 1.50's till the end of the month when i get paid.
Will pay a $10 interest on it at the end of the month when im paid
if this is against any rules i apologize.
so $75 for 85 back at the end of the month if anyones interested?
ill give more info if needed
Cheers
default rate = d
EV(loan) = 10*(1-d) - 75*d
EV(loan) = 10 - 10d - 75d
EV(loan) = 10 - 85d
d = 10/85 = 11.8%
So if you default less than 11.8% this is +EV.
Interest = 10/75 = 13.3% interest for one month.
This is ridiculously high interest for one month.
If you're not trying to scam someone out of $75 you're overpaying for access to their money lol.
This smells a lot like degenerate gambling behaviour.
Take a step back and think about whether this is really a good idea ...
If you are a 3% winner at the $1.5 games.
Then you will be making 0.03 * 1.5 = 0.05 / game
To overcome the fixed cost, $10 of playing with borrowed money, you would need to play X games where:
10 = X * 0.05
X = 200 games
@ 15 games / hour
You need to play 200 / 15 = 13 hours
just to overcome the fixed financing cost of your poker grind for the month.
This of course assumes you can beat the games for a 3% ROI and that your results even run close to your expectation over such a small sample (unlikely).
Doesn't seem like a great plan to me ...
Nice math :D na its not a scam
and i am a bit degen but never more than i can afford (or in this case payback)
im from england so £7 is roughly $10 so for a hours work i would get to play poker the rest of the month which makes it a good deal for me lol
Truth be told the rest of my money this month is for rent and food.
*edit* im still a losing player with husngs as you can see on my sharkscope, but its the game i feel i have the most potential to be good at
Ok.
It is a fun game.
Best of luck to you :)
NO LONGER NEED THIS.
just bagged a nice prize on 888 so im rolled again :D
Must have been the good luck I wished you ;)
haha yes luck of the irish :D
