After the beginner's pack

I've purchased the beginner's pack and am finding it informative and helpful.

My question would be what's the next step after that? I don't think I'm ready to move up from the lower stakes, yet so I'm wondering if the site has more low stakes/beginner stuff to offer. Would the coaches, (or other members), recommend going with a membership shortly after the beginner's pack or would you suggest working with the pack for a while first?

Thanks!

I honestly believe that for

I honestly believe that for someone who is serious about poker the full membership on this site is well worth its value. However, I understand that the membership fee can be very intimidating for someone starting out. If you are still working on building a roll and building skill to move up in stakes then I am confident that there is enough information within the video pack to help you do that. If you rewatch the videos and continue to play I think that you will improve enough and earn enough money to no longer be threatened by the membership cost.

What stakes are you playing now?

I'm playing at the $1.10

I'm playing at the $1.10 level, just while I make sure that I've got my head on straight and I'm on the right track. Planning to move up to $2.50 when I have 40 buy-ins.

I think that you should

I think that you should really be looking to get into the $5s as soon as you are confident that you aren't losing money. There won't be much of a difference in skill but the rake will be halved which will help your ROI a bit.

Thanks for that info, xSCWx.

Thanks for that info, xSCWx. That was something that I was wondering about and had forgotten to ask. What do you think is a reasonable number of buy-ins to have before making the move?

I wrote an article on

I wrote an article on bankroll management here:

It really depends on how easily you can replace your bankroll and how confident you are in your game. 30 is probably safe if you can't replace it.
