AI or bet/play for value?

Ever met anybody showing AI $900 on the river on a $200 pot?
Or opponent showing AI when 35BB-deep?
($2-$5 levels)

What experience do you have of these bets and how do you handle them, with witch cards do you call them, or do your rather fold and play on?
Cant remember calling the AI shows on the river to often, would be TPTK or 2pair+ for calling, but don't know if they usually do this as a bluff or if they have a monster.

What would you call the preflop AI show with (if it is the first time he does it)?
99+, AQo+

When do you think its profitable to do this AI moves ourselves?

This is a very general

This is a very general question (as is your other, as of yet unanswered thread).

There are some players, even winning players, that I will profitably call with A-hi to an overbet shove on the river.  There are others where I will lay down TPTK, it all depends who you are playing.

Look at the characteristics of an opponent, often times over bet shoves are just paranoid overbets with big hands that are scared of seeing a "bad turn" card that might bring a flush/straight/overcard.  Other times opponents wait until they see the overcard on the river and they combined that with a passive line from you and overbet shove, thinking that you cannot possibly call such a big bet with whatever weak hand you have.

Try to figure out their motives for making a big overbet and then decide what you should do.

Your ranges are good for first hand AIPF opponents, I might add in 88 and AJ though, especially in the $5s.

Thanks RyPac13 for your time

Thanks RyPac13 for your time to answer my questions though they are very general. But as a new player for HUSNG there are a few questions and i thought this is a great place to ask, which is better then trial and error imo.
(Don´t understand why there are so few people asking questions here, are all pro´s here, seems like im the only one asking questions here)

I completely agree with you. The flop AI is to protect something, but i usually dont like to risk and call here without TPTK or at least 15 outs.

As for the river AI, they seem to always time it right to showe when i have nothing or maybe third pair. I don't know if i would go as far as you and call it with A-hi.

what i don't understand is why anybody would take that line with air, or maybe even third or second pair and risk their hole stack for a small pot?
