Bankroll management: poker for a living!

EDIT: Sorry I posted in the wrong section, maybe someone could move it on the appropriate section! Hi, so I would like to know what you guys plan for a "living" bankroll management: 20 Buy Ins? 50 Buy ins? 100 Buy ins?And for a living, how you deal with the money?: is it a % of your bankroll that you withdraw every week?Personaly, I've started grinding with 20 buy ins, (Roamus on ftp) but after a few downswings at the 55$, I find that my mental just cant take it. (when im tilt: IM T-I-L-T) I plan to play with 100 buy ins. But with all the money I withdraw and the money that I've lost this last week  (1500$ downswing), I have now a 500$ bankroll. Playing 22$ (20 buy ins for the moment but I dont want to player lower, after crushing the 55$ I feel kind of gay to grind those 22$ games) Maybe i'll try to make it 50 buy ins at the 33$ and start to grind those till I have 100 buy ins at the 55$. What you guys think would be the best for a player like me (you can sharkscope me) that tilt is my principal leak.ps: sorry for my english, its not my own language! Hope you guys understood all i've said :P/Roamus

re: dealing with tilt

Hey Roamus, not sure which membership you have (or if this one is still under the premium section) but here is a video I did discussing tilt.  At the very least, there is a long list of great articles that should help if you don't have a premium membership.http://www.husng.com/content/itried2warnu-video-16-dealing-tilt#newBest of luck,

thanks bro, i've already

Re: Stop Loss

I think that a good stop loss would be anywhere from 6-7 buy-ins, but a lot of that can change depending on what your bankroll is and how mentally prepared/aware you are of the way you're playing.  Some days you're just going to run bad and it may seem like you "just aren't allowed to win today", other days you may be playing bad and losing as a result.  Either way, I think losing 6-7 buyins would be a good stopping point.  You don't want to use my bankroll management skills from when I started :)  I would join $500 reg speed hu's to try and win back money that I'd lose while running and/or playing bad at 6-8 tabling $2/$4 NL 6max.  This was back in like 2005/2006 or something... Somehow this actually went well, but I was probably pretty fortunate since I usually only had 10 buyins on my account usually.  This was my first introduction to HUSNG tournaments, but I had a lot of experience playing heads up from when I used to play 9 handed sngs.

yah, it seems that all you

yah, it seems that all you guys "when I say that, im talking about the HUSNG team" made a nice bankroll by playing with big risk to get broke. None of you ever grinded the 22-33$ games? :P

I don't know about the other

I don't know about the other guys, but you also have to keep in mind that "back in the day" there wasn't near the tools/websites/information as their is now.  I did grind only 55's for months at a time as well :)
