bankroll managment concept (conservative hypers)

hey guys ive been playing the 3.50 hypers on stars and doing fine i recently deposited some more cash and moved to 7 i had a bankroll of 950 i hit a downswing untill i reached 698 and started playing 3.50 again because i did not have atleast 100 bi for 7.i understand the conservative 100 bi rule im using however here comes the catch.i have 700 dollars i play one game  and i have to go back to 3.50?how many bi for 7 should i have if the MINIMUM is 700= losing tolerance of 0 games ?  should i just grind my way up to 110 bi (820) and play till i hit an upswing or go back to 3.50? i am really struggling today to figure up the ideal approach and what to doif anyone has any insight on this atleast what you personaly use will be very useful thx :)

i think you are being pretty

i think you are being pretty conservative with your bankroll. i prefer a more aggressive approach until i reach my preferred limit. i step up to the next limit, once i have 40 buyins of that level. then i take a shot of 5 buyins. if they are lost, i go back to the previous limit. the upside of that approach is that if you are on an upswing, your bankroll grows pretty quickly. the other thing is, that you also grow faster as a player, if you are facing better opponents. and it´s more fun, which probably is one of the more important factors for me.  even with that approach, you should never go broke, if you are a winning player. so to sum it up, if your goal is 100$-limit: 7$: BR of 280$15$: BR of 600$30$: BR of 1200$60$: BR of 2400$100$: BR of 4000$ then i would stay there, until i have 100BI for 200$ limit, so 20.000$.  i would only be conservative with my BR, once i reached my goal.   cheerss.

Usually a 100 BI-BRM means

Usually a 100 BI-BRM means that you move up when you have 100 BI for the next level ($7 = $700) and move down when you have 100 BI for the level below ($3.50 = $350), otherwise - as you pointed out correctly all ready -  you would had to move down if you lose the first game. This is why nowadays lots of people use a move up / move down BRM. With a 100 (move up) / 70 (move down) BRM you would move up, once you have $700 and move down once you have $490.There are many variations. If you are willing to rebuild on the $3.50 - if necessary - I would recommend that you move up with $700 and move down once you have $350.You even might wanna use a 70BI BRM.The $7 hypers are not that much harder than the $3.50. You just need to return to the basics (you have no reads on your opponent and just because *that* bluff worked out vs the fish on the $3.50 on whom you had 328 hands does not mean that it works vs the fish on the $7).

Overall you want at least 100

Overall you want at least 100 when you've settled on any particular limit, before that aggressive shot taking is fine as long as you have the disciline to stick to it. Something like 40-50 buyins and taking a 10 bi shot makes sense to me.
