I played a small HUSNG on sportsinteraction (sports betting site) just for fun and I noticed in the poker client they have a "bankroll protector", which when you enable it, it won't allow you to buyin to a cash game or SNG if you don't meet the minimum buyins requirement. They have defaults (50BB, 20 Buyins, etc.), but you can't tweak it any way you like. You can disable it at any time of course, but I think it's a pretty cool tool to have. Does anyone know if any other sites have this (specifically Pstars) or if there is some kind of poker software out there that will accomplish the same thing? Thanks to all.....
I believe some sites such as PokerStars or Full Tilt may have an exclusion setting for specific high buyin levels.I don't believe any major site has a tool as comprehensive as the one you found sounds like.Email the support for each individual poker room to get specific information.I believe just about every site has a full self exclusion, but that is for problem gamblers, rather than people just trying to avoid the temptation of sitting a level or two higher. You can also use the filters on many poker rooms such as Full Tilt or PokerStars so that only the buyin levels you want to play are displayed.
